Hello and welcome to our family!
Glad you could join us. We could use the company. The Spare Tire Cycling clan hasn't exactly been treated to a land o' plenty recently. The economic downturn has been putting the screws to most everyone who would otherwise like to don a hot and fresh jersey. But we are resilient, and we have plans. Big plans. Although the Boulder Belle line of women's fitness apparel is on hold for now (not a good time to be coming out with another high-end product), we are pushing on with a new line of simple, but silky (cottony) t-shirts geared toward the singlespeed, 29er, fixie riders. Let's be frank, we singlespeeders ride one gear because it's fun, it's pure, and for gosh-sakes, so we can tell the whole motha-grabbin world that we ride one gear. 29er and fixie riders are as fanatical, if not more so (especially fixies), than we are. Keep your eyes peeled for them. We hope to roll them out this spring, and they are going to be hotter than the fries on the back of our jersey. Anyone have thoughts on whether you would like to see it offered in organic cotton? More $ of course, but fashionable for all the right reasons.
